Mr. Freeman has worked extensively in both public securities and private equity investing and possesses a broad investment perspective. His past positions include serving as an auditor for the State of Michigan Insurance Bureau, an investment Analyst for both the State of Michigan Treasury Dept. and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Director of Investment Research, portfolio manager and equity analyst at Bank One (First Chicago Corporation), and Director of Investment Research and assistant portfolio manager at Kemper's Financial Services Selected Financial Services mutual fund complex and Managing Director for the private equity segment of Century Capital Management, Inc. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts and the Association of Insurance and Financial Analysts.

Mr. Freeman graduated from Michigan State University Magna Cum Laude and was elected a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (the national business school honor society) and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Masters Degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University. Mr. Freeman has served on numerous boards of directors and has chaired three Audit Comittees. He was most recently a board member of Fidelity National Information Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:FNIS) and chaired the Audit Comittee.
